Registrations for the 46th Jizerská 50 of ČSOB Pojišťovna will start as usual on 1 July

Jizera Mountains are beginning to turn green and the incredibly long winter has only just come to an end, but our organisation team is already working on the preparations for the 46th Jizerská 50 of ČSOB Pojišťovna. We will start registrations for all the individual contests – the 50 and 25 kilometre classic technique and 30 kilometres free style – as always on the first day of July.
Futile battle with unceasing snow calls forth three snowcats

The ČSOB Pojišťovna Jizerská 50 offered some of the most demanding conditions of recent years for racers: a futile battle with the weather when 40 centimetres of snow fell in the Jizera Mountains between Thursday night and the Friday finish, necessitating the presence of three snowcats ahead of the race.
Rezac and Svendsen wins Jizerska 50

Stanislav Rezac from Czech Team Patria Direct won Jizerska Padesatka after a tough battle in heavy snow. Second came the Swedish starlet Jimmie Johnsson from Team Exspirit and in third place finished Jörgen Aukland from Norwegian Team Xtra Personell.
